Windows XP Nice Short Cut

Windowx Xp provide short cut to short command as below:

  1. Hold Windows Key + E to Opens Windows Explorer
  2. Hold Windows Key + F to Opens Find Files dialog box
  3. Hold Windows Key + R to Opens Run
  4. Hold Windows Key + M to Minimize all open windows
  5. Hold Windows Key + Shift Key + M to Maximize all open windows
  6. Hold Windows Key + Control + F to Opens Find Computer dialog box
  7. Hold Windows Key + F1 to Displays Windows Help
  8. Hold Windows Key + Tab to Cycle through task bar buttons (Enter to open selected window)
  9. Hold Windows Key + Pause/Break to Opens System Properties dialog box

Another shortcut here:

  1. CTRL+TAB Move forward through tabs.
  2. CTRL+SHIFT+TAB Move backward through tabs.
  3. TAB Move forward through options.
  4. SHIFT+TAB Move backward through options.
  5. ALT+Underlined letter Carry out the corresponding command or select the corresponding option.
  6. ENTER Carry out the command for the active option or button.
  7. SPACEBAR Select or clear the check box if the active option is a check box.
  8. Arrow keys Select a button if the active option is a group of option buttons.
  9. F1 Display Help.
  10. F4 Display the items in the active list.
  11. BACKSPACE Open a folder one level up if a folder is selected in the Save As or Open dialog box.
  • CTRL+C Copy.
  • CTRL+X Cut.
  • CTRL+V Paste.
  • CTRL+Z Undo.
  • DELETE Delete.
  • SHIFT+DELETE Delete selected item permanently without placing the item in the Recycle Bin.
  • CTRL while dragging an item Copy selected item.
  • CTRL+SHIFT while dragging an item Create shortcut to selected item.
  • F2 Rename selected item.
  • CTRL+RIGHT ARROW Move the insertion point to the beginning of the next word.
  • CTRL+LEFT ARROW Move the insertion point to the beginning of the previous word.
  • CTRL+DOWN ARROW Move the insertion point to the beginning of the next paragraph.
  • CTRL+UP ARROW Move the insertion point to the beginning of the previous paragraph.
  • CTRL+SHIFT with any of the arrow keys Highlight a block of text.
  • SHIFT with any of the arrow keys Select more than one item in a window or on the desktop, or select text within a document.
  • CTRL+A Select all.
