Tricks when writing CD

Have you ever get error when writing files or photo from hard disk computer to CD. When you want to copying important files or family photo from your computer to CD, usually the error message appear about ten minutes after recording.

Bellow tips could solve the problem so the recoding process will not error again:

Turn off your screen saver, it will disturb recording process if in the middle of recording the screen saver running
Setting to lower speed when recording your file to CD
Close all your programs that still open or still running, it will more speed the recording process
Try to defragment your hard disk before writing process
Clean the surface of CD
If all point above has you do but error message still appear, try another CD or from another manufacturing

When process recording windows need space depend the CD capacity, generally 1 CD could up to store 700 megabytes of data. So your hard disk must higher than 700 megabytes. You can do the following to free up disk space:

Run the Disk Defragmenter tool.
Run the Disk Cleanup Wizard.
Empty the Recycle Bin.
Delete unneeded data files.
If you have more than one partition or disk drive, select one for the temporary file storage area that has sufficient disk space.
