Search files or folders

Find files or folders when you fail to remember the name or location. Windows XP could help for this problem if you remember one of these criteria:

• a part of the file name
• a word or phrase in the file
• when the files is modified
• what size the file
• type of file

Bellow step to find the file:

• For the first click Start and then Search
• Then Search Results window appear
• For Pictures, music or video choose number 1
• For specific file type choose and click number 2
• All files or folders choose and click number 3
• If you on the network choose number 4 to find computer

For this time I will write about find files or folders, after clicking number 3 options. Then type all or a part of the file. Or you could type a word or phrase that you remember. On look in tab, change to Local Hard Drive. Click Search.
