Find files or folders when you fail to remember the name or location. Windows XP could help for this problem if you remember one of these criteria:
- a part of the file name
- a word or phrase in the file
- when the files is modified
- what size the file
- type of file
Bellow step to find the file:
- For the first click Start and then Search
- Then Search Results window appear
- For Pictures, music or video choose number 1
- For specific file type choose and click number 2
- All files or folders choose and click number 3
- If you on the network choose number 4 to find computer
For this time I will write about find files or folders, after clicking number 3 options. Then type all or a part of the file. Or you could type a word or phrase that you remember. On look in tab, change to Local Hard Drive. Click Search.
