Remove My Recent Document

My Recent Document is listing of document that latest open. In generally after we open a file then close, the files name will add to list of Recent Document. The list of Recent Document usually sort base file name ascending. To see your Recent Document just click Start button and point your mouse to My Recent Documents.

You can remove the list manually by right click on the file name and then click delete. But Windows XP provide the easy way to remove the list. Follow this step:

  • Open your control panel by clicking Start button and then Control Panel. Then from Control Panel window choose and click Taskbar and Start Menu.
  • From Taskbar and start Menu Properties window, click Start Menu tab and then click Customize.
  • Click Advanced tab.
  • Click Clear list.
