How to Resize Hard Drive using Power Quest Partition Magic 8

How to Resize Hard Drive is my question when my system HD is full. Currently I am using one HD in my computer with capacity 76 GB. From 76 GB divide 2 parts that is c and d. capacity of c is only 5 GB and d is 71 GB, and later c directory is almost full and I can not to install new program on it. Then I ask to my friend on my office. And he recommended to using Power Quest Partition Magic 8. Then I ask to him the software.

Install the Power Quest Partition Magic 8

From my friends I get the software, then I install on my computer at home. Installation process is easy and short time. Then the software running and resizing the HD. Below the step to resize.

• Open Power Quest Partition Magic 8
• Then find link Resize a partition on left windows
• Then select drive to resize, in this time I choose c
• After that setting the new size of c, you can set up to you and click Next
• Then you must choose which partition you use to add c partition, I choose E, perhaps different with you.
• Click next
• At confirmation windows, just click Next
• If apply changes question is appear just click Yes

Then computer will start the resizing your HD, just follow instruction appear. Windows will restart the system if resizing done. I hope this useful for you. Base on my experience.
