Remove Your Way

Windows XP provide Run menu. With Run menu user can open file, open folder, access internet, open programs and install programs. To access Run menu user can click Start and then click Run or press and hold the Windows button + press R.

Please read the previous article about start program from Run menu. In this article kipram.com will write about trick to remove the recently program or files that open via Run menu. The recently open can not remove manually.

See the picture above, there is five recently open program and files like: cmd, excel, calc, notepad and create_email.txt. The trick to remove it is use registry editor. In this time kipram.com will use the regedit.exe that has provided by Windows XP.

First step open Regedit.exe by clicking Start and then click Run menu. On the Run menu type REGEDIT and press enter button. On Registry Editor window open:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER
• Software
• Microsoft
• Windows
• CurrentVersion
• Explorer
• RunMru
• Then delete list at the right section, leave the default.

After that close Registry Editor window. To see the effect you must restart you computer.
